MWF Middle East Aid campaign
Since the humanitarian crisis began, Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) has been working tirelessly to deliver crucial aid to those affected in Gaza and Lebanon. Partnered with a recognized local organization, MWF ensures that assistance reaches people safely and efficiently, even in challenging conditions. In December’23, MWF’s dedicated team of five travelled to Cairo, Egypt, to coordinate a major aid convoy. They sourced, packaged, and loaded food parcels, medical supplies, winter clothing, and clean water onto trucks bound for Gaza via the Rafah border, with the Egyptian Red Crescent’s support facilitating safe passage.
MWF continues to respond actively to the Gaza crisis through monthly hot meal distributions and clean water provisions. Our commitment extends to Lebanon, where we are similarly addressing critical needs as they arise. Looking ahead to the winter season, MWF remains dedicated to fulfilling promised aid, prioritizing the provision of nutritious meals and essential items to help families weather the colder months.
